Beef Stir Fry with Noodles and Sticky Sauce

Quick, easy, and packed with flavor, this Beef Stir Fry with Noodles and Sticky Sauce is the perfect weeknight dinner! Tender beef, colorful veggies, and slurpable noodles are tossed in a glossy, sticky-sweet sauce that’s absolutely irresistible. Better than takeout — and way more satisfying!

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

  • 8 oz beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced

  • 8 oz noodles (rice noodles, egg noodles, or spaghetti)

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • 1 cup broccoli florets

  • 1 carrot, julienned

  • 2 green onions, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

For the Sticky Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (slurry)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. Whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, garlic, and ginger to make the sticky sauce.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add beef in a single layer and sear for 1-2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  4. Add bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot to the skillet. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.

  5. Return the beef to the pan along with the noodles. Toss to combine.

  6. Pour the sticky sauce over everything. Add the cornstarch slurry and stir quickly until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.

  7. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

  8. Serve hot and enjoy every sticky, delicious bite!

Notes

  • Slice beef thinly against the grain for the most tender texture.

  • Feel free to switch up the veggies based on what’s in your fridge!

  • For a gluten-free version, use tamari instead of soy sauce and rice noodles.

  • To add spice, toss in a dash of red pepper flakes or a spoonful of sriracha!

  • Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers are still absolutely delicious reheated with a splash of soy sauce.
