Ingredients
-
1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
-
24 slices pepperoni
-
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or mozzarella sticks, cut into small pieces)
-
1 tablespoon melted butter
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
-
Optional: marinara sauce for dipping
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
-
Place 2-3 slices of pepperoni and about 1 tablespoon of mozzarella near the wide end of each triangle.
-
Roll up tightly from the wide end toward the tip, encasing the filling.
-
Arrange rolls on the baking sheet.
-
Stir melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning together. Brush over each roll generously.
-
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
-
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with marinara sauce if desired!
Notes
-
Don’t overstuff! It’s tempting, but keeping the filling moderate prevents leaks.
-
Customize your rolls with extra goodies like sautéed mushrooms, spinach, or different cheeses.
-
These rolls are best fresh, but they reheat beautifully in the oven at 350°F.
